Descripción

To celebrate its 3rd anniversary, the Museu del Modernisme Català presents thirty new works by the most significant artists of our cultural legacy.

In this book you will find a selection of this new works, highlights including the railings of the Casa Mateu - known as La Miranda - designed by Antoni Gaudí and Francesc Berenguer in Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona).
There are also two charcoal and pastel drawings by Ramon Casas, one of which is the portrait of his model, lover and wife Julia Peraire, in which the early 20th century fashions predominate.

Also presented for the first time is furniture from the Casa Trinxet by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, and spectacular examples of cabinetmaking by Joan Busquets and Gaspar Homar, with which you will find interactive resources that will provide additional enjoyable information, with reference to the construction of furniture at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th.
