Stephen Wilkinson, Choosing Tomorrow's Children: The Ethics of Selective Reproduction (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 2010), viii + 265 pp. Many people do not choose to have children. They reproduce without having intended or planned to do so. Even when people do choose to have children, they usually do not choose which children they will have. However, there are some cases in which people do choose one or more attributes of the children they will have. These are the cases that form the subject matter of Stephen Wilkinson's book (which should not be confused with Jonathan Glover's earlier book of a similar title, Choosing Children).
