This material is recommended for 6-8 year old students that want to learn how to play the recorder.
Students will learn how to read and interpret musical scores in an enjoyable, entertaining, playful, intuitive, digital and interactive way.
All the songs follow the same pattern:
1. Introduction.
2. Song with repetition.
3. Introduction again.
4. Song.
5. Some of the songs end with a CODA.
The same routine is used when teaching students these songs:
1. Dance, movement, and physical response while they listen to the song.
2. Use of vocal rhythms to teach the song.
3. We play the song using percussion instruments.
Read and sing the score.
We play the song with the recorder.
6. Groups of 3-4 students play the song using recorders and percussion instruments.
7. This book includes: audio, exercises in order to follow the musical beats,tap the rhythms and reinforcement activities.
8. The book has a glossary.
